Lampard has confirmed that centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is out of contention for the game against Brighton due to injury.
With the fixture sandwiched between two Champions League legs against Real Madrid, the Blues are expected to rotate the lineup.
Carney Chukwuemeka and Armando Broja are also sidelined with injuries.
