Tim Stillman reports that the Gunners are closing in on a deal to sign Fox in the January transfer window. The full-back, who can play on the right or the left and was included in GOAL's National Women's Soccer League Team of the Season, has been a restricted free agent since the end of the campaign.

Arsenal are likely to make more than one signing in January, with boss Jonas Eidevall promising that reinforcements are on the way. The club have also been linked with a swoop for Manchester United and England goalkeeper Mary Earps.
